A Home Office scheme that allows for the disposal of pesticides or biocides for a one-off registration fee of £20 will continue until March 14, after extra funding was found. The amnesty has been running as part of Project SOE, which aims to ensure that crop protection products are stored and used in a safe and sustainable way. Up to 15 products can be disposed of, provided a list of quantities, packaging and information about the condition of packaging is supplied at the time of registration. We’re advising members to make sure they take advantage of this opportunity to get rid of any unwanted, out-of-date or revoked products at a greatly reduced cost.
